Since his retirement from professional sport, Derek has become one of the world’s greatest motivational speakers, often discussing his inspiring story from the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, to motivate others.

He has recently been announced as the keynote speaker for SEO and content performance managers BrightEdge’s Share18 Global Insights Tour which will be visiting locations in the UK and America later this year.
